Mid Length Surfboards

Mid length surfboards have seen a boom in popularity over the last few years, with people in the UK also realising how versatile they are for our waters. A well sized mid length surfboard can be a great choice for someone progressing their skills, or an advanced surfer just wanting to catch more waves.

Mid lengths vary from 6’6 to around 8ft, their typical characteristics being wide, round outlines, often with fuller rails and a 2 + 1 fin system. Compared to a shortboard, mid length surfboards can be used in small waves as well as big. Depending on sizing, our mid lengths can be a great alternative to longboards, or a much easier and fun summer board compared to a shortboard or groveler.
