A personal favourite from shaper Max, the Royale is a performance based mid that draws inspiration from the recent boom in this style of surfing.

Wide point forwards, with a foiled out tail and sharp rails, this board has been tested and refined after a trip to France. Featuring a single concave under the chest, flowing into a wave face holding double, finishing with a slight V through the tail.

Despite the user-friendly volume that sits under the chest, boosting you onto waves on the smaller days, the Royale generally prefers to be taken out in bigger swell - holding firm at speed and even in barrels.
